Happy Halloween!

All ready to go trick-or-treating!!!

A princess ballerina...and her pumpkin!

After we went to a few of the neighbor's...we came home to hand out candy, which proved to be VERY fun...

Paige watis by the door with the basket of candy...she would run as fast as she could when she heard the kids at the door...it was too cute!

What is this???

Kurt and I had decided to get Paige a doll house for her birthday...after looking around town and on-line we decided to order this one..it finally came yesterday...so yes Kurt and I were busy putting it together last night!

Here is Paige's reaction this morning....

I think she likes it...as she played with it nearly all day!

Trick-or-Treating at HP

We went to HP and did trick-or-treating this year...we saw Shane and Jace!

Costumes at Music Class

Since this week was Halloween, we got to wear our costumes to music class!!! Paige was a princess ballerina! My cousin, Sarah, made this cute tutu when we were vi sting in AZ last May...it worked perfectly for our costume! Paige love to twirl around and dance...although she was not in a very smiley mood at dance class today.

Birthday Party!

Last weekend we had a small birthday party for Paige and it was full house...with The Dalton's from North Powder. Oregon; the Alsono's; the Bateman's; Grandma Porter; Uncle Lance & Aunt Brenda; Chris and Braydon...and all the kid's had a BLAST playing! Here are some pictures of the event.

It is party day!! Paige had gone the day before and helped me get a few last minute things..like the balloons...

..and cake (which she picked out by herself!)..yes Dora was our 'theme' this year!

Time to open the gifts...

'Aunt' Heidi, 'Uncle' Doug, and Ashlyn ...

Theron, Shane and Kylie watch Paige open gifts....

...more gifts...

...wow a Dora bath toy!

giving Grandma a bit hug for the twin baby dolls, which she LOVES....

...more gift opening....

Shane, Ashlyn, and Theron watch Paige....

One of those singing cards (thanks 'Aunt' Terri!), so Paige dances all around...

Time for cake...

...Jace helped blow out the candles...but Paige did not seem to mind, she just said ' can I have some cake now?'...she had been asking to eat the cake all day!

The kids ready for cake...Braydon, Jace, and Taylor...

One of the balloons got loose and the fan was on..so it got all tangled..Kurt and Lance were able to get in undone some how...even after a few beers!

Picking pumpkins and fall fun!

One afternoon Paige and I went to the pumpkin patch with her friend Bridgette and her mom. The girl's have been friends for awhile and always like to play together...they had a good time exploring the farm!

Riding the cow train!

Bye mom...see you later!

racing through the corn maze!

Bridgette says 'should we turn this way?'

Waiting for the pig race to start..yes a pig race!

and here are the pigs....run fast little pigs!

Searching for pumpkins....

I like this one mom!

Look how big I've gotten! Almost 3 feet tall!

Then one night we took daddy to the farm, so Paige could ride the pony...she would raise her hand and say 'yeeee-haaaa'...think she learned that from cousin Jace (a future bull/horse rider!).

Yes..that is a baby camel on the left...at the petting area, they had many baby animals.

Petting the little goats...

Paige talked me into going on the big air slide...wow...that is crazy with all those other kids! But we had a fun time!

See ya later mom & dad....going on a cow train ride!

Remembering my Grandmother

My grandmother passed away on September 30th. She had a stroke 6 1/2 years ago and had never fully recovered from it. She was a wonderful lady, who always loved me no matter what, although she could be rough around the edges and had an opinion on all things...still she was a loving, caring person whose presence on this earth will be missed.
