Building a new playset and slide!
While Paige and I were in Salmon over 4th of July this summer, Kurt put the swing set together (yes he got some help from Jim & Tony)...but it turned out awesome! And Paige LOVES to swing every day!
Happy and proud parent moment...
Paige started going to pre-school 2 days a week, this was her third week (I'll post pics soon!) and she really likes it! When I dropped her off for school yesterday morning, her teacher (Miss Sara) told me that she wished she had 15 more Paige's in her class....made me so happy! She also said that Paige has transitioned to school and the daily activities/program very well. She said Paige is such a joy and that I am very lucky (which I already knew I was lucky to have sweet Paige in my life!). I was glad to hear this, so was Kurt, as he was way more nervous about her going to pre-school than I was...cute! Paige will continue in pre-school for 2 days a week through the summer, we are glad she likes it and is thriving there.
Vegas baby.....to see a baby that is!
The middle of May Paige and I went to Las Vegas to visit my new little niece (Brinley) and the rest of her family... my sister and husband, Marcella and Cahl, my nephews, Tristan, Jasen, and Hunter. We arrived Thursday evening and stayed through the weekend. We got to spend a lot of time with the family, just hanging out and playing (it was a bit cool, so we did not get much pool time in...bummer). Paige and the three boys jumped on the trampoline blew bubbles, played tag, and played hide-and-seek. We go t to go to Tristan's football game...Paige LOVED being a cheerleader, but I'm not so sure she knows what all the hollering was about...but she sure joined in and clapped! We both had a wonderful time and were very glad so see the 'new girl' in the family...Paige calls her 'baby Brin' :)

Paige and Hunter admiring baby Brinley!

The three rowdiest fans! Jasen, Hunter, & Paige

In love...
Kurt is king at our house...Paige tells me that she REALLY loves him! And that she does not love me, but she does like me. I tell her that is ok, but that I still love her....Oh it makes me sad, but I know she really does love me!

Good enough...new bike!
Last weekend when I was at Target getting some things I went by the bike section (we had been talking about getting Paige a bike and looked at one before, but it was too big)...and I saw a perfect 12" purple bike...so I had to get it! Paige LOVES it and has gotten better every day on it.

....'I won't run you over dad!' ...but Paige still needs to learning about the brakes!
...'it's good enough for me!'
When it's not nice outside, Paige rides around in the garage!

I love Chocolate.....
A couple of weekends ago we went to the nursery to look for a few shrubs or trees for our back yard. Paige says, I know....let's get a chocolate tree (yes from Dora the Explorer)! And we sort of laugh and say 'well you look for one here' and then we shrug it off. Last night her and I are sharing a bit of a chocolate chip cookie and the discussion starts....
P: I really want a little chocolate tree planted in the back yard. In the dirt hole back there.
Me: What do you think will grow on a chocolate tree? M&M's? Chocolate chip cookies?
P: Yes. Then when you are busy working I can go out there and get some yummy chocolate. It will need just a little bit of water too. Mom, I really want one.
Me: Well, that sounds yummy. I have not ever seen a chocolate tree.
P: I have, Dora has one. Can we get one?
....oh the things little ones do that make us laugh!
